SENSEI KAIVAN FATAKIA

In 2015, The I.K.G.A. appointed Sensei Kaivan Fatakia to oversee and guide the growth of the organization in India.

Sensei Kaivan Fatakia is the Technical Director of the Karate-Do Gojukai India. He spearheads the I.K.G.A. Goju-ryu movement in India. Sensei Kaivan is based out of Mumbai and oversees the growth of the organization across India.

His vision for K.G.I. is to create a community of strong and disciplined Karatekas across India and to particularly empower women and children of our country in this art of self-defense.

Sensei Kaivan is a certified 4th Dan Black Belt, has represented and won medals at State, National and International Championships and has trained many Global Champions.

Our Founder Kaiso Gogen Yamaguchi

The International Karate-Do Gojukai Association was founded by Kaiso (Founder) Gogen Yamaguchi. Yamaguchi was born on 20th January, 1909 in Kagushima, Japan and was a descendant of the Samurai and the chosen successor of Master Miyagi in 1953.
