The International Karate-Do Gojukai Association (I.K.G.A.) is our parent organization and is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan. The illustrious I.K.G.A. is dedicated to forming a worldwide community of students who train in the art of Goju-Ryu Karate-Do.
The International Karate-Do Gojukai Association (I.K.G.A.) has a strong presence in more than 70 countries across the globe. The organization oversees grading and technical training for all its Dojos. Regular Conventions, Competitions and Meets are organized by member nations to encourage the family spirit and the Art of Karate amongst its members under the auspices of the I.K.G.A.
Grand Master Goshi Yamaguchi, who has a legacy of being trained by the founder, Kaiso Gogen Yamaguchi, heads the organization.
The International Karate-Do Gojukai Association (I.K.G.A.) is one of the pioneers to introduce Karate to the rest of the world. It follows strict practices to training its students in the authentic style of Karate. The Goju-Ryu style of Karate, which is propagated by the I.K.G.A., is one of the ancient styles from Okinawa, Japan, the birth place of Karate (18th & 19th Century).
The International Karate-Do Gojukai Association (I.K.G.A.) has been active in India for more than 30 years. More than 7,00,000 exponents, 11,000 police personnel (Mumbai Police) and 3,000 government security personnel have been trained under Gojukai India.
In 2015, The I.K.G.A. appointed Sensei Kaivan Fatakia to oversee and guide the growth of the organization in India.

The International Karate-Do Gojukai Association was founded by Kaiso (Founder) Gogen Yamaguchi. Yamaguchi was born on 20th January, 1909 in Kagushima, Japan and was a descendant of the Samurai and the chosen successor of Master Miyagi in 1953.
